Abstract
Electronic scrap recycling has become more and more important in the last years. It is therefore a current research topic worldwide and especially in Central Europe. Flexible, (semi-)automatized disassembly cells which are able to disassemble a broad variety of electronic devices are focused on. The paper deals with the automation of disassembly and describes a modular system for developing such cells. Furthermore an example of a realized application is given. From the viewpoint of automation further development trends are outlined.
