Abstract
Temporary pools serve as a habitat for a large number of aquatic insects. Light trap experiments conducted show that Hemipterans are more predominant than coleopterans. Of these two orders, Hemipterans represented by single genus appear in large numbers. Further, there appears to be a definite periodicity with regard to the dispersal of these insects.
