Some observations on the conditioned responses in the fingerlings of the milk fishChanos Chanos (Forskål)

Abstract

Experiments on olfactory perception and on conditioned responses for gustatory and visual stimuli were carried out in the case of fingerlings of the milk fishChanos chanos. Experiments tend to indicate the presence of olfactory perception. Gustatory and visual perceptions appear to be well developed. Fingerlings could recognize white, red and green lights with equal acuteness.
