I. Variation of blood sugar during menstrual cycle

Summary

  1. 1.

    The blood sugar of seven South Indian women students has been determined daily for about a month. The average for each individual varies from 80 to 93 mgms. per 100 c.c. of blood. During the menstrual period a rise and fall in blood sugar is noticed.

  2. 2.

    The fasting blood sugar for these students varied from 77 to 90 mgms. per 100 c.c. of blood, the average being 81 mgms. per cent.
