Abstract

Pueruli of the spiny lobsterPanulirus polyphagus are being reported for the first time from the western part of the Bay of Bengal, along the east coast of India. Diagnostic characters and a revised key to the identification of the known pueruli of the Indo-West Pacific species ofPanulirus are given.
