Summary
The synthesis of some furoquinoline by a convenient method is reported. O-Amino-carbonyl compounds of benzene are succinoylated, ring-closed to 2-quinolone-3-acetic acids, reduced to the corresponding 3-ethylaclohols and again ring-closed to dihydrofurans.
