Fixed oil from the seeds ofGnetum scandens (Roxb.)

Summary

The chemical and physical constants of the fatty oil from the seeds ofGnetum scandens (Roxb.) have been studied. The oil consists of the glycerides of oleic (27%), linoleic (3%), palmitic (14%) and stearic (56%) acids.
