Abstract
Exfoliative cytology of forty cases of carcinoma pharynx and larynx was studied and compared with histopathological examination report. Exfoliative cytology established the diagnosis in 82.5% of the cases; which shows that it can be used as an adjunct in the diagnosis of carcinoma of pharynx and larynx.
