Laryngeal tuberculosis

Summary

Clinical study of 71 cases of laryngeal tuberculosis were presented. The incidence was 0.1% in general (Irwin) Hospital and 7.5% in tuberculosis hospital. The relationship of occupation and socio-economic condition to the disease were also studied. The clinical pictures of laryngeal tuberculosis and results of treatment has been presented. In the treatment, combination of three standard antitubercular drugs and role of corticosteroids have been discussed.
