Summary
Eight cases of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma seen in a short period have been analysed. The silent nature of the primary tumour and difficulties in obtaining positive diagnosis have been emphasized. It is felt that due to inter-mixture from mongoloid races carcinoma of the nasopharynx in this part of India is higher than what is believed. It is also observed that this region is generally involved at much earlier age and that the course of disease is more rapid if it appears at this stage.
