Extrapharyngeal presentation of nasopharyngeal fibroma

Abstract

An unusual extra-pharyngeal extension of juvenile Nasophary-ngeal angio-fibroma is reported in a 14 year old. boy. The tumour mass had extended forward into the nasal cavity and protruded through the anterior nares like two budding roots destroying a part of the nasal septum. The case history, clinical features and treatment carried out, are reported. A short review of literature is carried out regarding various other extra-pharyngeal extensions of Naso-pharyngeal angio-fibroma.
