Summary
Extra medullary plasmocytoma is rare in occurence. A case of extra medullary plasmocytoma is reported and an opportunity is taken to review our knowledge of these tumors in the light of published work. Treatment in this type of tumor in form of surgical excision and postoperative irradiation is deemed necessary keeping in mind the unpredictability about the future behaviour.
