Abstract
The effective correction of septal deviations either by manipulation during early infancy or by septoplasty after the age of 5 years ensures normal anatomy of nasal and facial structures, normal physiology of upper respiratory tract and healthy development of the child. The septal deviation detected at birth should be corrected by manipulation. The method of manipulation and the technique and difficulties of septoplasty in children have been discussed.
