Putagraivam, a new genus of the hyphomycetes

Abstract

A synnematous hyphomycetePutagraivam sundaram gen. et sp. nov. collected on dead twigs ofMacaranga indica Wight from India is described and illustrated. It is the conidial state of a hypocreaceous fungus.
