Thermally induced vibrations of orthotropic rectangular plate resting on elastic foundation

Abstract

Thermally induced vibration of orthotropic rectangular plate resting on elastic foundation has been investigated. The problem is solved in terms of double trignometric series. Complete solution is derived from the sum of two deflections—quasi-static and dynamic. The dynamic solution is obtained by the method of Laplace transform.
