Abstract
Electron spin resonance studies on powdered samples of CaS:Mn2+ and SrS:Mn2+ at 300° and 77° K reveal the usual six-line hyperfine structure due to Mn55. CaS:Mn2+ exhibits additional fine structure satellites which have been analysed on the basis of a near zero cubic field splitting.
