Crystalline chemical components of the bark ofWrightia tinctoria, Br.

Summary

The bark ofWrightia tinctoria has been found to contain triterpenes as the major components andβ-sitosterol as a minor component. The former includedβ-amyrin, lupeol and another triterpene alcohol which seems to be new.
