In vielen alltäglichen Handlungs- und Entscheidungssituationen im Krankenhaus ist eine ethische Dimension enthalten. Leider verfügen zur Zeit aber nur wenige Ärzte und Pflegende über eine fundierte Ausbildung in Medizinischer Ethik.

Dargestellt werden Grundlagen und Strukturelemente eines Modellprojektes zur Ethikfortbildung von Mitarbeitergruppen innerhalb eines Krankenhauses. Bedeutsam ist dabei vor allem das multiprofessionelle Konzept und die Berücksichtigung der Organisationskultur.

Die im Projekt gemachten Erfahrungen zeigen, daß die Teilnehmenden nicht nur vom Angebot, ihr professionelles Handeln ethisch zu reflektieren, profitieren. Darüber hinaus ergeben sich positive Effekte im Hinblick auf die innerinstitutionelle Zusammenarbeit.

In this text the basic elements and structure of a model dealing with training in clinical ethics are illustrated. The program is dedicated to members of healing professions who work together. Aspects of great importance are the multiprofessional concept and the regard of the particularities of the hospital.

Based on the project’s experience, it is shown that the participants not only profit by discussing ethical issues of their professional practice, but there is also a positive effect on the cooperation among the employees.
