Kurzfassung
Homoctenus antecessor n. sp. aus dem untersten Bereich der Taravale-Formation (jüngeres Unter-Zlichovium) des Buchan-Gebietes (Victoria, Süd-Australien) wird beschrieben und abgebildet. Wahrscheinlich stellt das neue Taxon den stratigraphisch ältesten bisher bekannten sicheren Vertreter vonHomoctenus Ljaschenko dar.
Abstract
Homoctenus antecessor n. sp. from the lowermost Taravale Formation (late Lower Zlichovian) of the Buchan area (Victoria, southern Australia) is described and figured. It would seem that the new taxon might be so far the stratigraphically earliest known species ofHomoctenus Ljaschenko.
