Abstract

The genusInvertina Copper &Chen 1995 is reported for the first time in the Givetian of Morocco. AsInvertina sinensis (Kayser 1883), the type species of the genus,I. struvei n. sp. occurs in beds belonging to thePolygnathus varcus Zone.

Kurzfassung

Erstmalig wird die GattungInvertina Copper &Chen 1995 aus dem Givet von Marokko bekanntgemacht. Genauso wieInvertina sinensis (Kayser 1883), die Typus-Art der Gattung, kommtI. struvei n. sp. in Lagen vor, die derPolygnathus varcus-Zone angehören.

Résumé

Le genreInvertina Copper &Chen 1995 est signalé pour la première fois dans le Givétien du Maroc. CommeInvertina sinensis (Kayser 1883), l’espèce-type du genre,I. struvei n. sp. est présente dans des bancs appartenant à la Zone àPolygnathus varcus.
