Dating and environment using long-lived radionuclides

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1971-1996)

Summary

A brief review of the use of long-lived radionuclides to study our environment at large is presented. The main advance in this field is due to the development of accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). Emphasis is therefore put on applications of AMS in the various domains of environmental research.
