Summary
The results of a set of measurements of neutron emission from D2 gas loaded Ti (metallic and sponge) at different initial values of the D/Ti ratio are reported. The D/Ti system was submitted to thermal cycles in order to pass through phase transitions. We observed no neutron emission with an upper limit of 0.05 neutrons s-1g-1(1δ level), in four series of measurements, whereas in two series we observed a neutron emission at a ∼ 2δ level.
