Abstract
In this paper, a method of “mathematical” eikonal is proposed to solve a Lippmann-Schwinger type equation where the potential is not only a real function, but may also be a spin dependent complex function. The differential cross sections for high energy proton-proton elastic scattering are obtained by this method, when the singlet and triplet spin states are taken into account.
