Summary
This paper is dedicated to study the optimal allocation of observations. Under this context, several problems are included: Once fixed either the total number of observations or the maximum total cost, to choose, somehow, in an optimal fashion, the number of individuals wich should be observed and the tests to be carried out to every of them.
After a brief introduction in Section 1, the problem is planned mathematically. In Sections 2 and 3, the allocations are studied, fixed the total number of observations, without/with repetition of trials respectively. Finally, the allocations, fixed the maximum total cost, are considered in Section 4.
