Abstract
Aerial photo-interpretation aided by field check has revealed certain evidences on the recent movements and origin of some piedmont deposits in Doon Valley. Occurrence of post Upper Siwalik sediments involved in the last phase of folding of Siwalik and the involvement of still younger sediments in Holocene movements is discussed.
