Abstract
Osteoma of the paranasal air sinuses are rare lesions. This comparative study indicates that osteoma of the sinuses occur more in a younger age group of Indians as compared to the Caucasians. Radiological and tomographical evaluation provides a reliable clue to the extent of the lesion in three dimensional planes, to influence the route of access and the degree of excision. Recurrence, however, occurs more in the younger age group.
