Chronic granuloma of the small intestine

  • Published:
The American Journal of Digestive Diseases

Summary and conclusions

The literature on chronic non-specific granulomas of the small intestine not involving the ileocaecal valve is reviewed. Three cases of chronic granulomas are reported, one similar to the above group, one with a different pathology, and one in a case probably of lymphogranuloma venereum. The theories of etiology are discussed.
