Summary
A case of epithelioid sarcoma of the forearm with metastasis to the lungs is reported and histological features which help in recognition of this lesion are presented.
Epithelioid sarcoma is a rare lesion, the cell origin of which is uncertain. The lesion has been recognised as a specific entity only in recent years (Enzinger, 1970) and no case has been reported from this country before.
Early recognition of the lesion with appropriate treatment is important from the point of view of prognosis.
