Malignant lymphoma mimicking eosinophilic granuloma of of the gut

Summary

Two cases of intestinal malignant lymphoma are reported which were originally diagnosed as benign eosinophilic granuloma. The difficulties in the differential diagnosis of these two conditions are discussed, and points of importance in the histological assessment are emphasised. The distinction between these two conditions is of importance because their treatment is so different.
