Abstract
The effect of rain on radio propagation depends on the raindrop dimensions and shapes. For spherical raindrops, results of a statistical analysis of measurements are presented: the parameters of the raindrop size distribution as a function of rainfall rate. Attenuation constants and backscatter coefficients are deduced from these results in fonction of rainfall rate.
Analyse
