Conclusion

Chez les sujets âgés, le reflux est une maladie très commune responsable d’une morbidité non négligeable. Chez eux, le reflux est habituellement plus sévère que chez le sujet jeune, trop souvent sous évalué et sous traité. Le maintien d’un traitement continu par les IPP est souvent nécessaire compte tenu de la sévérité des lésions secondaires au RGO.
