Conclusion

In view of the evidence presented in the voluminous literature and the clinical and experimental evicence presented here, it is obvious that it is incumbent upon the gastro-enterologist and internist to constantly keep in mind the high incidence of digestive symptoms excited by pathology outside the digestive tube, particularly in the urinary and genital tracts.
