Stratiform cerussite in the Oligo-Miocene from Sardinia (Italy)

Abstract

Noteworthy quantities of scattered cerussite have been found in a particular horizon of the Tertiary from Sardinia; their genesis is discussed and the hypothesis is forwarded of primary cerussite deposition.

Sono state ritrovate notevoli quantità di cerussite diffusa in un particolare livello del Terziario della Sardegna; se ne discute la genesi e si affaccia l’ipotesi che si tratti di cerussite primaria.
