The dietary management of chronic amebiasis

Summary

Six hundred cases of amebiasis, belonging to types I to III of Craig, were successfully managed by a modification of the diet of D’Antoni and Jones.

The features of chronic amebiasis, the inadequacies of drug therapy, the importance of dietary treatment and the difficulties encountered in such management were discussed.
