Primary benign monomorphic adenoma of the middle ear and mastoid

Abstract

A rare case of benign adenoma arising primarily within the middle ear cavity is reported. The salient features of the lesion are discussed in the light of available literature. Radical mastoidectomy is treatment of choice and recurrence seems to be extremely rare following radical surgery.
