Abstract

The combined craniofacial resection offers an adequate wide field exposure for the tumours involving the fronto-maxillo-ethmoidal complex. Though the morbidity and mortality in this technique mentioned in the literature is high, the advantages and sound rationale of the technique outweight the complications. Retaining a small piece of frontal bone in the midline during craniotomy reduces the post-operative deformity in the forehead. We present eur experience of this technique without much significant mortality and morbidity.
