Abstract
Eighty Ears of 40 patients requiring anterior Nasal Packing for 48–72 hrs. were evaluated by tympanometry, to find out the effect of anterior Nasal Packing on middle ear pressure. The study shows that Nasal Packing results in eustachian tube dysfunction & negative middle ear pressure, which is reversible in nature.
