Iron nail in the Tracheo-bronchial tree

Abstract

A foreign body in the Tracheo-bronchial tree is reported. It stayed in the trachea and right main bronchus for months and the parents did not know about it. An attempt to remove the foreign body by Bronchoscopy was unsuccessful but became possible when done through the tracheostomy opening.
