Abstract

Benign tumours of the tonsil are relatively uncommon and some types are so rare that each case is of great interest. From India, Kameswaran (1967), Das (1969), Kogata & Narayan (1970) reported one case each of fibroma of the tonsil. A case of hamartoma of the tonsil is presented as no record of such a growth is found in the available literature.
