Abstract
Neurilemmomata arise from the Schwann cells of the neurillemmal sheaths of the nerves anywhere in the body. They are not to be confused with, and are histologically different from, the tumours of generalized neurofibromatosis though occasionally the two conditions occur in conjunction with one another.
Isolated solitary neurilemmomata of the larynx are uncommon enough to justify this case report.
