Kurzfassung
Mikrostrukturelle Beobachtungen an den Gehäusewänden und Septen einiger mesozoischer Ammoniten mit Perlmuttglanz zeigen eine gute morphologische Erhaltung der Perlmutt-Plättchen. Die Analyse zeigt, daß mehr oder weniger wichtige Abänderungen in der Zusammensetzung vorkommen. Um den Erhaltungszustand von Invertebratenskeletten abzuschätzen, reichen mikrostrukturelle oder chemische Analyse nicht aus: Beide Untersuchungsmethoden müssen gemeinsam durchgeführt werden. Die Elemente Mg und Sr erlauben es nicht, die Wirkung der Diagenese abzuschützen, wenn die Schalen nicht mehr aus Karbonat bestehen.
Résumé
Ŀobservation microstructurale de la paroi et des cloisons de quelques ammonites mésozoïques, sélectionnées ďaprès leur aspect «nacré», avait montré la bonne conservation morphologique des tablettes de nacre. Ŀanalyse localisée a mis en évidence des modifications plus ou moins importantes de la composition chimique. Pour estimer ľétat de conservation des tests ďinvertébrés, ľanalyse microstructurale ou chimique s’avère donc insuffisante: ces deux moyens ďinvestigation doivent être associés. En outre ľanalyse des seuls élements associés (Mg et Sr) ne permet pas une appréciation suffisante de ľeffet de la diagenèse (Mg et Sr) quand les tests ne sont plus en carbonate.
