Über die Basis der Conodonten

Zusammenfassung

Von verschiedenen Forschern sind in der Basisgrube der Conodonten kegelförmige Basisfüllungen gefunden worden; doch liegen nur wenige Untersuchungen dieser Gebilde vor. Nachfolgend werden die Ergebnisse einer histologischen Untersuchung der Basisfüllungen und ihrer Differenzierungen bei verschiedenen Gattungen obersilurischer und oberdevonischer Conodonten beschrieben; auch wird die Frage nach dem Wachstum der Basisfüllungen in ihrem Verhältnis zum eigentlichen Conodonten besprochen.
