Some observations on infantile cirrhosis of the liver

Summary

  1. 1.

    Some biochemical observations on 12 cases of infantile cirrhosis have been described.

  2. 2.

    The paper electrophoretic pattern of serum protein and ascitic fluid of some of these cases have been studied. They showed charaticiscter γ-globulin bands.

  3. 3.

    Low serum cholesterol values were obtained in these cases.

  4. 4.

    Sodium and potassium in serum were found to be within normal limits in cases of infantile cirrhosis.
