Zusammenfassung
Die Analyse des Abstandes jeweils zweier aufeinander folgender Lobenlinien, ihrer jeweiligen absoluten Länge und der Proportionen einzelner Suturelemente eines Ammonitengehäuses ermöglicht die Konstruktion eines Wachstumsmodells, welches noch mit einem Minimum an genetischer Information realisierbar ist.
Abstract
Ontogenetic analysis of chamber length, total suture length and lateral saddle dimensions of an Ammonoid shell reveal a possible new system requiring relatively little genetic information.
