Abstract
This review is a presentation of progressive knowledge gained on the three subphyla Homalozoa (= Carpoidea), Blastozoa and Crinozoa during the las decade — i. e. after drafting of the manuscripts for the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology, vols. S 1(1) and S 1(2) of 1967.
Concerning the Crinoidea, the Treatise volume of which has not appeared yet, the accounting period covers two decades.
