Zur tertiären dinoflagellaten-gattungcarpatellagrigorovich1969 (gonyaulacystaceae)

Abstract

Carpatella cornuta (Grigorovich 1969), a poorly known dinoflagellate cyst is emended. The genus presents the following paratabulation, studied by light microscope and SEM, typical for Gonyaulacystaceae: 0- lpr, 4′, 6″, 6c, 6‴, lp, 1⁗, Xs. Archeopyle-type: P (3″). The material investigated derives from the Eocene layers of the South Atlas Border Zone (South Morocco) in the west of Boumalne du Dadàs.

Carpatella cornuta (Grigorovich 1969), une kyste de dinoflagellás, jusqu’à présent mal connue, est emend’e. Les examens en microscopie optique et en M. E. B. prouvent une paratabulation typique pour la famille Gonyaulacystaceae: 0-lpr, 4′, 6″, 6c, 6‴ lp, 1⁗, Xs. Archéopyle de type P (3′). Le matériel, qui fait l’objet du présent travail, provient des sédiments de l’Eocéne de la zone marginale sudatlasique (Maroc méridionale), à l’ouest de Boumalne du Dadès.

Kurzfassung

Carpatella cornuta (Grigorovich 1969), eine bisher wenig bekannte Dinoflagellaten-Zyste, wird emendiert. Untersuchungen im Durchlicht und mit Hilfe des REM ergeben nun ein für die Familie Gonyaulacystaceae typisches Paratabulationsschema 0-lpr, 4′, 6″, 6c, 6‴, lp, 1⁗, Xs. Archeopyle: Type P (3″). Das Material stammt aus eozänen Sedimenten der Südatlas-Randzone (Südmarokko), westlich von Boumalne du Dadés.
