Abstract
This minor industry of Hawaii, second to coffee in acreage and value, covers only about 3,000 acres and produced less than 500 tons of unshelled nuts, valued at about $160,000 in 1954. Growth of the industry has been so great, however, that within a few years it is expected to be the principle tree crop of the Islands.
