A principal component analysis of quantitative serum protein data

  • Published:

Abstract

In previous papers1,2, we have shown that multivariate statistical analysis can be useful in analysing quantitative serum protein data. In the present study the approach used is slightly different. The data refer to four populations from Rwanda. These belonged to two different ethnic groups, the Hutus and the Twas (Pygmoids). Each ethnic group was sampled in a northern area (2,000 m ASL) and in a southern area (800 m ASL).
