Abstract

A café in Amsterdam. Claus and Connie are seated at the bar, finishing their drinks. They have been squabbling for much of the evening.

Claus has taken a hard-boiled egg from a carousel and is spinning it distractedly on the counter. He places it in his coat pocket.
