Summary
A study has been made of the relation of age to the frequencies of chiasma formation in the Wistar rat—Rattus norvegicus albinus. Animals of varying ages have been used, and definite and significant differences have been found between the extreme ages, results which parallel those found by Crew and Koller in the mouse.
